Staying Tone

Hey there fellow body blogger it’s me again.

This blog is going to be all about staying tone.

Some people are not as interested in gaining a whole lot of muscle but more worried staying fit and tone. During basketball season we worry all about just staying tone and not so much on actually building mass.

One of the first things that you need to do is figure out if you have any excess fat that you may have and want to get rid of. A good way to get rid of the excess fat is to do high rep, low weight workouts. For example if you have some excess arm fat then maybe try bench pressing just the bar until you push your muscles to fatigue. This will maximize the amount of calories that you burn and not add a whole lot of muscle.

Treadmills and running are also good ways to make sure that your legs are staying tone. Unlike squats and power lifts (which builds mass and muscle) running burns off calories in your legs.

I feel like staying tone is essential for when you age. No one wants to have flabby skin when they get older, so starting at a young age and toning your muscles is a good way to prevent that from happening.

Supplements

Hey there again all you bodybloggers,

Has anyone wanted to get bigger, faster, and stronger just a little bit faster than usual? Well I am here to tell you that there are things out there to make this possible, called supplement. In this blog I am going to describe some of these supplements to you and how they have affected me in the long run.

Vitamins

One supplement that people sometimes overlook when it comes to lifting and putting on some weight and trying to stay healthy is a daily multivitamin. This helps keep the body healthy and keep all the levels of minerals and vitamins that we use sometimes without even knowing up and at the levels that they need to be.  The one that I take every day is a one-a-day for men. I honestly can’t feel any of the effect that it does just that I feel more alert and awake after I take them.

Protein

Something that I have been taking for a while is whey protein. I have always had a problem with gaining weight and my friend suggested that I started to take protein after I lifted. Good protein comes in the form of lean meats such as chicken. But sometimes it’s hard to eat the amount of protein that our body needs immediately after working out.

When I first started taking proteins after I worked out it would sometimes hurt my stomach and would fill me up really fast. It almost made me stop taking it for a while after it made me sick. But I stuck with it and it helped me gain about 10 pound in a few months, this is of course combined with hard work and lifting.

Pre-Workout

One of my favorite things to take before I would out is called C4. After I take this supplement, 20 minutes it feel like I have more focus, tons of energy, and the ability to just concur the world!!! Some supplements are very hard to take because they sometimes don’t mix up as well, but C4 comes in a variety of really good flavors such as watermelon and fruit punch.

One thing about this supplement that I kind of don’t like is I drink too much of it, it will make me real jittery and on edge. But other than that I feel like lift so much more on it than I do when I don’t take it. The cost of it is kind of expensive but if you can afford it I would defiantly recommend you getting some and trying it out.

Creatine

Creatine is a natural and safe way to regenerate ATP, ATP is the primary energy source in the body when we are working out. Creatine can come in either a powder or pill. The kind that I take is a powder and I am able to mix it in with my protein after my workout. I don’t really feel any after effect after I take it.

If you mix a good workout routine with some or all of these supplements I think that will help you get bigger faster and stronger!!

Run Run Run

Cardio!!!

This would have to be the most beneficial workout that you could do in my opinion. From my personal experience after I get done running I can feel the burn from my legs all the way up to my arms.

On a good day I will three miles straight trying not to walk the entire time. I always feel extremely exhausted while I am running and after I get done running. But for some reason I always feel like I need to run more kind of like a high from running.

People always talk about getting a running high but I never knew what they were talking about until I started doing it myself.

All you need to start running is a good pair of shoes and either a treadmill or just go run outside. I honestly prefer running outside than running on a treadmill, mostly for the fresh air and the different views instead of staring at a wall the whole run.

Why is cardio so important…

Normally when you run your body sweats a whole lot and gets rid of a bunch of toxic build up in your body.

It also keeps your body from aching all the time if you run on a consistent basis.

A blog that I found that has a lot of good information about running is http://www.runtheline.com/ it has bunch of information on the newest running gear and running tips.

So if you got a good pair of running shoes and the right mind set get up off your ass and go for a run.

Shredding the Pounds

The main reason why a lot of people work out is because they want to lose weight. I have honestly never had to deal with wanting to lose weight to feel healthy. But I know a lot of people that do go to the gym because they just want to see themselves skinny and they think that will make them happy.

Most exercises that you try to do will help you to lose with. Because with weight loss it’s all about calories!!!

My personal advice would be to write down everything you eat on the days you work out, with the number of calories that is holds.
Then I would look up about how many calories you are burning from the exercises that you choose to do, this way you know exactly how much you are putting in your body and just how much you are taking out.

This website that I found had wrote down exercises and the amount of calories thqt eqch exercise burns if you have time please check it out http://allwomenstalk.com/10-top-exercises-to-lose-weight.

In a few weeks I am going to be talking about supplement and how they can also help when you are trying to burn fat and lose weight, but next time we are going to talk about defining your muscle.
